Decorative Art
& interior design studio
Erisse crafts culturally inspired decorative art, from design to manufacturing, that transforms interiors into living stories about your culture and yourself.
DECORATIVE LANGUAGE
The language your space speaks
A decorative language is how a space says who it belongs to. We draw it from your memory, your culture, and the things that have mattered to you.
We find it, build it, and produce it in full.

“What beautiful thing could be born from indifference?”
— Ana-Maria Ilușcă, Founder Erisse
In the architecture of old, nothing was indifferent. The hinge matched the door. The door carried the room's story. Every detail was part of the same language, from the plan of the building down to its smallest element. When ornament was rejected and craft was divided, that language was lost. Erisse begins at the hinge, and works outward.

Manufacturing
At Erisse, the same hands that design a piece also build it. What is discovered at the machine changes how the next piece is drawn. What the drawing demands pushes what is possible to build. Two systems, one logic.

Metal Embroidery
Precision laser, plasma and waterjet cutting, forming, superfinishing and powder coating, operated at
tolerances the industry does not expect, and refined by hand at every stage.
Sculptural Pieces
Timber prepared, sculpted, jointed and finished entirely in-house — from raw material to a surface that
the hand and the machine have both worked on.

Ornamental embroidery
Every commission begins with a language. Sometimes it already exists — in a tradition you carry or a culture you came from. Sometimes it is found through conversation and instinctive association, and built from nothing. From there, each piece is drawn and produced to carry it at architectural scale.

Interior Design
When every element of a room belongs to the same decorative language — the surfaces, the furniture, the light, the architectural detail, the room becomes a complete statement. We develop interiors in which each piece was designed for its place and the whole is built from a single thought: the story the space tells, told at every scale.

Sculptural pieces
Our sculptural timber pieces are built to carry meaning as well as presence. Each one is a statement and together with the surfaces and objects around it, begins to tell a story. Made to order, designed to be the element that gives a room its orientation: the one that draws the eye, holds the mood, and makes the space feel as though it belongs to someone specific.

What surrounds you shapes what is possible within it. Erisse creates the space in which every surface, every object, and every source of light was drawn from your history, your culture, the forms that have always felt like yours, so that when you step in, the stage is already set.
